I don't usually write these sort of things, but I'm really quite bored at the moment, and I figured I might as well kill a couple minutes typing this out.

The day before yesterday (the 14th), I [finally] got my first Ball Python and brought him home (a picture of him can be seen in my gallery). The breeder who sold him to me said he's only shed once, and I'm not sure exactly how old he is. I estimate his length to be about 18 inches long, though I hope next time to I take him out, he'll stay stretched out in one place long enough for me to actually measure him.

He ate a pinky last night (pigged it down, I should say), whom my brother dubbed "Eaten". Which I assume - and people have told me - is a good sign. He's also a lot calmer then I thought he would be when being held, seeing as he tried to take a bite out of the girl working for the breeder. He doesn't flinch away when I go to pick him up, and hasn't tried to bite me once. ^^

I also still haven't decided on a name. But I'm sort of flirting with Nagraj, which means King of Snakes in some language. Might be Indian (NOT Native American).
